A few questions and comments:

1. I think I will really love the new logos, but if the game scales them down, then infact you could also make them bigger? Would that have an impact on the game at all?


- Because I'd love to see even bigger logos in some screens. Way bigger!
- I don't really think it's a problem that logos of 70x70 and the likes have to be scrapped, as many of these are allready in a bad quality (those downloaded)

2. However, what about clubs that don't have a logo? Do they still get that dummy crest as they do in FM2007?

- In my opinion it should be left out of the game this time. Offcourse you could only delete the whole folder though...

3. Facepacks, Facegen: I'm not a fan of what you are doing here, but personally I turned of the show faces anyway - will this be possible still? And what would the end result look like? Any screen of that would be greatly apreciated. With this feature I believe a lot of fanpacks beeing made are going to be of absolute horrible quality (with exceptions of course) - I fear the magic wand...

4. The logo behind the player faces, what are the size of that, and is that made of the same standard 180x180 logo? With some kind of effect over it?

5. Kits: will you release a template for the kit beeing used in FM2008? I, as others it seems, like to have all graphics in one style.

6. Background logos: Will they fade automatically or do we have to make this ourself? Will you then relase an action as you did with FM2007 - as I said before, I like everything to be in the exact same style... Or just make a tutorial on how exact you make it?

7. Ter wrote "I usually make all the logo packs myself for (most) of the clubs in the world for my own personal enjoyment."
- Have you ever considered logging in undercover with a fake nick at some forum uploading these packs?

But all in all very good, and I'm offcourse excited to lay my hands on FM2008. With the new screen it almost looks like work too Perhaps my wife will just think I'm working...

Some litle bird told me theres no graphics folder. So where are the pics, logos, kits, etc, or where do we put them???
Same system as in FM2007 with xml files or something new???
Really like the new "feel" of the game.

You can make them as big as you like. Obviously the larger they are the more work the game will have to do when scaling them down so there might be a noticeable delay when changing screens.

Still undecided.

You'll be able to turn off Facegen and player pictures if you want to.

It's 180x180, same logo as is used in the titlebar, but isn't scaled. You can also set the amount of transparency you want and the game will do that too.

Not sure if we'll be releasing a full template but we'll definitely help you get started.

Have to do those graphics seperately. We'll release an action to do this, yes (When the game is out)

You've got to release a template for the kits, the lack of a template for FM07's kits (which I really liked) killed any development of them.

Ter, with there no longer being any "huge" logos, can you give us an example of the config?

I totally agree, at least the basic template, generic ones. We can make the brands etc ourselves, but the basic template should be released - in my opinion - why not now? Let people make lot's of kits before the game is out.
