Ter, so what about pictures with normal background, will they be abandoned? Will all new pictures be replaced by those without background?

We scrap all old pictures each year anyway and replace them with fresh new ones

Quick question for Ter or any other SI member...
Do you guys use graphics made by forum members when you play? Because obviously licences don't let you put them in so do you use other peoples? Just a thought.

Yeah, we use a lot of the fan created content in our own games.

I usually make all the logo packs myself for (most) of the clubs in the world for my own personal enjoyment.

This probably has already been covered, but the pic of the player is computer generated,.. I take it this is from a league you dont have the rights too,...

If not, are all players going to be comp generated?

I'm starting on the new normal and small size club and comp logos for FM08 from tonight - so that by release I'll have most of them done.

It is worth it in the end though

The only pictures using the Facegen technology are players generated by the game. We'll have normal pictures for teams we have licenses for (where pictures are available) and the rest will have the 'default' picture.

I believe the game stretches these to the screen size whatever size you have them, but the 'standard' size we design for is still 1024x768, yes.
