As for the border, that's in the skin - i just put a 2px black border around it so when i resize to 95x95 it will be 1 px.

Ter, what is the 'special' way of cutting the images?
Would normal images with a background and a 2px border look normal in the game, with the default skin?

No, the heads are cut out now so there is no background, just their head like the facegen ones in some of the screenshots released.

i make an france facepack with the new size but i cant erase the background,anyone can help with a tutorial?

You just need to cut round the background using the magic wand tool. Works best for pictures that just have a grass background behind them.

For more tricky pictures, might be best tracing round it using the pen tool.
