I always struggle when i play with 2 Pacey or technical strikers so i always plays with a big target man and a pacey one but i sometimes i have injures or stuff like that and i struggle when my big man is not fit or injured so how can i make it work without him ?

In the tactic i've just posted you can use two pacey strikers, works fine

play on the counter, give them forward runs often and set their mentality to the highest attacking setting, deep defensive line helps too.

Can your players dribble?

If so, my experience so far with FM2008 is that they will scare the hell out the defence by running at them with pace.

Other than that, think logically, if they are pacy, they are best suited to run in behind where the defence won't catch them.

Therefore, if you play with counter attack ticked, you can provide oppurtunities to bang balls through and over the top of the defence into their paths. This will work especially well if you are the underdog; your opponents will most likely try to attack you and so their defensive line, will probably move higher. In order to get the ball through to the strikers, obviously, you must give your midfielders and possibly defenders (if they have the required passing and decision stats) a frequent through balls instruction.

If you don't have players capable of playing these passes then this tactic is simply throwing the ball away, therefore, look at your squad carefully before deciding how to play.

but the main problem appears in the high balls cause they lack heading and jumping for example: playing against ManUtd thery is no way i can take a high ball against Vidic and Ferdinand , i know many will say wtf he is talking about but my defenders r playing high balls all the time especially the full backs i don`t know why ? they r set at the 1st notch of direct passing . so how can i convert these high balls into something i can benefit from ?

I`m playing a Direct & quick style of play .
