I'm Aston Villa, in the Jan transfer window, i've got 16 million after the board said they had made a good profit(and we did, i checked. thanks Randy Lerner!)and i need to strengthen my goalkeeping(according to what my assman says, but i think scott carson and thomas sorensen are good enuf, thank you)AND NO WISECRACKS ABOUT CARSON IRL please he's been brill in my game.
I also need a sub striker, i have carew, harewood and luke moore. all 3 are good(believe it or not, harewood is scoring!!!)but i could use a fourth striker. Wijnaldum is coming already and i could use a left-back(i find Bouma a little bit prone to mistakes). thanks!
in goal i'd go for Vincent Enyeama or Diego Cavalieri
as a striker i wouldnt spend too much but someone like eddie johnson, jozy altidore, falcao or can probably find some brazilian thats going for under 5 million
for left back try marcelo if he still has his min. fee release clause, also leighton baines or gareth bale.
these may be too expensive if you plan to spend money on all 3 positions but you should be able to get at least 2 or 3 players, especially if there back ups.
Well, if the GK's are playing well for you then I suppose its all good. You can look at Costil, Joao Carlos, Grohe, Bouzanis for the future though. All 4 have good potential.
ST: Try to get Cesar Delgado. If he's still at Cruz Azul, he'll cost you around 3M and he's great. Pacey and although he's 25, has a lot of unfulfilled potential. He'll get up to the mark soon though. Else, get Zarate. Again 3M. Eddie Johnson would be a good buy as well.
LB: Get Sakho. He's very solid. If you can wait till the end of the season, then check out the players whose contracts are expiring. There should be a couple LB's there for you to get. Pander and Edman are two who come to mind.
