Ever Banega doesn't seem to have good enough defensive skills for a defensive midfielder. I have started a game with Barcelona, and I'm thinking of playing him as a central midfielder with a defensive mentality.
The thing is that his defensive skills don't become especially good a bit into the game either.
So how good is this player, really?

Had him for half a season at Arsenal and he was poor. Tough to fit him in since he's a natural DMc but is more of a Pirlo type player, so unless you play a twin DM formation you might have defensive problems. Or you could have at least one MC with great defensive skills, but that seems a bit counterproductive. Milan seem to pull it off IRL, however.
