me and my mate are trying to play a network game. hes hosting it n im trying to join.

im entering the ip address which is 192.168.2.4/86.128.93.129

but it is not working. it says unable to join to server.

what is wrong? please help

you have to give to your mate that 86.128.93.129
but , to play in network you should have the same patch, do you?

86.128.93.129 is to be given to your mate if he is connecting to your computer over the internet. If you hooked to the same router it is the other one. You need to tell the routher to forward the connection to your computer with the other IP atleast in some occations. This is done differently on different routers, you also have to make sure that your firewall is letting the connection through and that the right ports are opened up for connection.
