As a bit of a technophobe, how do you actually install the new patch once it's downloaded, & do you have to restart the game from scratch?

The download is what we call an executable. So once you've downloaded it, go to where its saved...and then just click it,it should update your files automatically. And no you do not need to restart the game from scratch

no just double click on the patch

click on update and then load your save again and you should get fixtures.

But then the beta oatch ruins your training... eg, no young players gain attributes and dont improve the way they should... The game is broke atm so i'd wait for an official patch to come out if your going to play in the SPL

Really? I've not read about this. I did find it suspicious how Anderson & Nani's stats aren't increasing despite 7 star coaches and good performances all season... God damnit.

Wow, haven't heard of this bug... It's pretty serious by the sound of it, so is it fixed in the beta or what? Are the testers even aware of it?

When i changed teams in the spl they didn't have fixtures at the start of the game. Is this the same problem?

I downloaded and installed the beta patch about jan/feb in the game time. And my fixtures haven't regenerated for the second season - presumably because I saved during that window of close season time. Urgh. Mad mad mad.
