team talk are absouletly important
for an example i was playin a game wid a better team, half time score was 3-0 to the other team!
i told them " i want to see more from you" second half was a whole other game, we won 4-3!! and after the match one of my players said my talk between the match gave the players wat they needed to go out and win the game

actually thats what i said when my liverpool were two nil down to derby in the first half. we also won 4-3

I've had post match comments from players stating that what I said in halftime have turned the game around.

It is worth making a mental note of how players react to different styles of talk.

I very rarely give the whole team the hair dryer. I normally sprinkle a couple of 'no pressures' and 'have faiths' around as well.

CM 2008 lets you see the pre-match team talk at half time. Not a bad idea I suppose...
