create player search filter from 'player name'

ive just gone into my players profile and looked into 'misc'

in there it has a button

'create player search filter from behrami'
when i click it it takes me to the search screen with some seemingly random players.

what is this suppose to do? and why?

It helps you find a similar player. It is useful if you can't get a current player to sign a new contract or get a bid too good to refuse for a player. In short it can be used to find a replacement.

that's interesting.
i take it it's similar in terms the postiions they can play in?

because the players returned by the search range from values of 10mil to 150k. 18 to 35 year olds yet they can all play RB/RFullback/RM

I think positionwise and also similarities in strengths, weaknesses and attributes. Not sure though haven't used it that much.
