looooooooool. surprise surprise.

i bid for a cheap bargain NOT transfer listed, someone my scout pickedup i bid NO ONE interested, and then 20 OTHER CLUBS show up, this has never stopped since i bought this game and is another issue starting to get to me.

Alot of work needs to be done for this version. i mean ALOT. either show clubs beforehand whose interested or DONT CHEAT.

Happens in real life so it shouldnt worry you. Many teams will have eyes on a player. When one receives a confirmed bid his agent will notify other clubs or leak it out into the open and then other clubs will most likely bid

you don't know that other clubs haven't been keeping tabs on him. as soon as you make a bid you force the hand of other clubs.

If the player is not "wanted" it means that player is not on anyones short list. Adding a player to your short list makes him wanted.

If they are not wanted by other clubs they are not on their short list so they shouldn't even be aware you are making a bid.

If i've been 'watching' a player for a bit, but don't have him on my shortlist, i don't get a news item telling me there is a bid for him, why should the AI know about it when it is the other way round ?

how do you tell if a player is on another club's short list? do clubs release a list of players they're watching to the public or something?
