Started a new game with the patch and took over Leicester. I have a 4 year plan to win the Championship and minimum expectations to reach the third round of the league Cup.

Unfortunately I was kicked out by Birmingham in the League Cup and that brought disappointment to the fans, despite that Birmingham is a Premiership side and Leicester not even in the 10 best in the Championship. After almost two months two months the fans and board have been "particularly unhappy" with my defeat by Birmingham and "want me to get the fans back on my side with better performances.

The thing is that the last couple of months my form has been amazing and after 9 games I sit at the top of the table, with my last two matches being 3-0 victories, one against Watford which was on the top spot!!!! I am 5th in goals scored, has conceded less than any other team in the league, I have the best attendance in the league and I am undefeated for the last six games! The press raves about my team which has surprised everyone with this start!

YET THE BOARD AND FANS ARE "SLIGHTLY CONCERNED WITH THE RECENT FORM SHOWN BY THE TEAM" What the hell is going on????

I would say try not to worry too much about confidence unless it gets really bad, until the end of the season where your results from all areas of the game can be taken into account.

I agree it's not ideal but I think the key is not to worry too much about it unless you are in danger of getting fired.

My board feel I should be performing slightly better in my role as manager. The only reason for this is that I loaned in a backup winger who my fans think is crap.

Thing with the condifence feature is that the summary takes an average of all the various confidence types into play. So when you failed to reach the 3rd round of the cup (which was the min. requirement), then that will affect your total confidence until you manage to increase the other confidence levels. Judging from your performances you wont have any problems with that. Keep in mind that you wont be "judged" fully on your league performance until the season is over, but your cup exit has been judged already.

Yes its very unrealistic you can win the league cup when you expectation is the third round and overachieve in every competition and make excellent signings and you are brilliant to the board, but if you loan someone as a backup if you get hit by injuries and "you should be performing better." Its like the good part is worth nothing but anything negative no matter how small is what is likley to get you sacked.
