Can somebody tell me what continental qualification and title challenge actually means when choosing your season expectations.

Is continental qualification just Uefa Cup qualification or does it include champions league qualification?

Is a title challenge actually finishing second or third closely behind the leaders or is it just finishing in the top 4 (ie. champions league qualification)?

Continental qualification is exectly that - getting into the eufa cup (or better).

I can't say for the title challenge.
