Default A appoligy to SI, you win.

Most people wont remember it of course but about 2 months ago i came on this forum and had a fair few pops at SI for the fact that this game pre patch wasnt any good and was bug ridden and seemed to have been rushed.

Now, after installing the patch, i have to admit that SI have now produced the best game since 01/02.

Well done SI, maybe i should have kept the faith after all.

Cheers

Makes a change to read a positive message on here. I agree that the patch seems to work for me and I'm loving FM08.

I am the world's biggest 01/02 fan, and play it daily - I love it - it's quick, fast, I can play a season in about a day, the transfer system works, and I like everything about it.

I have played but never liked any game since. Even FM07, which I started to think was pretty good, got on my nerves eventually. It seemed there was too much going on - too much to go wrong.

However, I think FM08 was got the balance right - there is a million things in the game and they all work well enough to make the game playable and enjoyable.

SI have taken a lot of criticism recently, but there is always criticism at this time of the year. I hope no-one at SI takes any of it too seriously. The major problems that are brought to their attention is fair enough but the pedantic, small, non-problems that annoy people because they're not winning every game should be rightly ignored by SI.

To me, nothing will overtake 01/02, but, and this is the greatest compliment I can give it, FM08 comes the closest yet.

I'm loving FM08. Just won the Prem for the 2nd season running with the mighty Cardiff City, got Barca in the CL semi going into the away leg 2-1 up..... love it.
