We can adjust budgets to make more wage funds or transfer funds but honestly it means feck all and is a nice little knob on a system that just doesnt work.
I feel like tearing my hair out because my League One side wont let me offer a superstar of Prem quality the £5k that he wants per week to join my side. They will only let me offer half of that.
Now i am a good £20k under my wage budget. We can have a crappy side and be £20k under the budget or £15k under the budget with a crappy side that houses a superstar.
Surely with budgets we should be allowed to offer what we want as long as it comes under the limit? If i have a £50k budget surely i can offer allocate that how i want. 20 crap players on £1k a week and then the remaining £30k on Maradona if i want to?
You'd've thought you could accomodate him with that amount of money left in your wage budget. Certanily is annoying I had it when trying to sign Mark Iuliano on a free but I just offered him as much as I can with a higher signing on fee and it worked.
