the first beta patch has the best and realistic engine match so far!

I tested today all the 3 patches released for FM 2008 and I came to the conclussion that the first beta patch (the 10 mb one) has the best engine match so far.
In the first beta patch, the match engine is abosolutelly stunning. Tested with Barcelona for one season, the shots to goal ratio is fantastic, you don't see shocking miss like in the final 8.0.1 patch. Also, the injury ratio of the players is between 0-10%, hardly had major injuries all season. The players' rating are very realistic also.
On the second beta patch, closing down bug was back, the match engine was worse then the first beta patch by miles. I think this patch has the worst match engine from all the patches released.The second beta patch was a major flop regarding the match engine.
Finally, the final 8.0.1 patch has a better match engine than the second beta patch, but it has a lot of bugs. In this version, you see shocking misses from your strikers, the ratings of the players are very low and unrealistic in some cases, the players get injured more frequently in games (very frustrating). Sure, this final patch resolves a lot of bugs outside the match engine, but for me this is the most important part of the game, as I watch all the games with key highlights.
So, for all of you who complaines about the shots to goal ratio and other bugs in the match engine of the final patch, just reinstall the first beta patch and you will love your FM 2008 again.

My team were playing exquisite football with the first beta patch, I just haven't been able to recreate it with any of the others.

great.....somebody who constantly moaned and ranted that with the Beta patch the game is unplayable and want SI to release the gold patch asap are now saying 1st beta is the best......

Who could anticipate that the match engine would go from bad to worse after the first beta patch?They should have kept the engine from the first beta patch and resolve only the bugs outside the match engine with this final patch.
