My game in short:

BVB Dortmund, heavily in debt, okish squad, attempt to return a massive club around and get them back on the map...

Season 1: 5th in the league, cup semi-final, got into europe: well above a midtable expectation

Season 2: 6th in the league, euro cup winners, cup qf....: again well above expectation

Season 3: 8th in the league, euro cup winners, cup 3rd round....: slightly below expectation as i thought i could get into europe via league (ie 6th place or better, but i WON the cup so qualify by default)

After my 3 years, the board sack me, ie don't renew my contract.... WHY?!?! OK, i missed out on a good league spot although the difference between 4th and 10th place was 4 points! i was 1 point off 5th...

Now i have built my team up, to a poistion i think we can finally end the bayern domination in germany, the board have other ideas apparently... i have been incredibly tight money/wage wise which they are happy with, but finishing 8th has apparently killed me off.

Is there anyway to alter the default database mid-game, ie load another one where i mess about with the idiot-infested dortmund board?!
or get another contract somehow?

failing that i'm buggering off the frankfurt and gonna try and sign as many dortmund players i can lay my hands on!

like i said, i was 1 point off 5th and i finished 8th...

i've won the euro cup twice and the super cup i might add... does that count for nothing?

well im a liverpool fan we have won the CL and FA in last two seasons...is it the prem? it sure aint.

so maybe it doesnt count for much if the league is the main focus of the club like it is for liverpool.

benitez is still in the job though?

i have spent about 1/10th the amount he has on his players

plus dortmund do not command no where near as much expectation as liverpool

I just invented a new user and then applied for the job. I got it of course! Even though they had just let go the most successful manager in their history, they gave the job to a novice!

You lose your history, but a least you can carry on with the players you know and have chosen.

what were your season and long term expectations? they're pretty important in all of this, otherwise we can't decide how the board are acting.
