Bought FM08, everything working great at first. Decided to add some kits and logos to my game, still working fine, then all of a sudden the game would not load.

It said it could not recognise the disk

I thought I would uninstall my game and then reinstall it after to make it work but my computer isn't even reading the disk now!!

Please help!! I am desperate. I need my dose of football management and have not had it for 2 days.

Is anyone having similar problems?

Sounds to me like a problem with your copy protection. Check the bugs forum for something called securom. There have been lots of posts from people with problems regarding this.

I have looked on the bugs forum and people do not seem to be expereincing the same problems as me. Its so depressing.

Does anyone know how I can get my game back to how it was originally AND for it to work.

If not, im going to reformat my pc - will that work?

Have you scratched the disc? It might be as simple as that.

I used to have to try a few times in a row to get my drive to read my disc. Possible your drive is on its last legs.

When you close your drive hold the button (that closes it) - used to work for me.

That would be all fine and dandy if my computer was old!! I only had it last xmas! It will not read my fm disk at all.

The disk isn't scratched either, I make sure of that!

Please anyone, any ideas?
