I know it's been asked before, but my new £6million signing is unable to get a work permit, and has completed enough days to gain Spanish nationality.
Seeing as there's no actual way of asking him to gain Spanish nationality so he can play football (duh ), is there anything I can do to encourage him? Will he ever consider it? Or do I have to send him to Belgium for 3 years until he's 29 so he can play? And how come he would automatically accept the Belgium nationality to gain an EU passport after being sent there by me, but doesn't have the intiative to accept Spanish nationality?
I haven't seen a player continually "consider citizenship" if he doesn't already have a second nationality. I have a Sengali with almost seven years in England who is still considering citizenship. He's gonna consider it for a long time, because he's also French ...

And that boys & girls(do\can girls play FM? ) is the problem. I think that as part of contract negotiations you should be able to stress to the player that he has to take citizenship. I imagine that there is something simmilar done irl otherwise whats the point of sending players to work permit feeder clubs?
Agreed. The citizenship thing is pretty cool, but they should have put a feature into the game which enables you to encourage the player. Would be especially useful in countries like Italy where there are EU restrictions.
