Justanothermanager is infamous around these parts
Default Sacking the Captain
during my first season with newcastle joey barton requested a transfer and wanted to leave the club, so i agreed and placed him on the transfer list. he was then absent from training so i sacked him as captain, he then says he is shocked, surley if he is asking for a transfer away from the club he has shown that he isnt bothered about the pride of being newcastle captain.

nice touch to the game though sacking the captain

he has the highest influence and he was considered for newcastle captaincy until he got injuired in pre season

Sounds like a bit of a bug to be honest if he requested a transfer then moaned about being sacked, although it is Joey Barton tbf
