on my game. (im bolton) through my youth setup i got an absolute immense young player. (mostly 16's by age of 17 !)

villa made a bid of 10.25 mil which board accepted :thdn:

villa accepted a bid of 9 mil from liverpool

an then just 2 yars after the board sold him :


real madrid bought him for . . .



33.5 MILLION POUNDS ! ! !


so annoying. if only board kept hold of him

generally i've fond the board buggers off and leaves you to it if you put min. fee release clause on your best players contracts.

Happened with david jones of derby a lot, sold to blackburn for £12.5m. started a new game after beta patch released, min. fee release of £25m, second season, barcelona buy him for £33.5, didnt care by that point, I had pound signs in my eyes cos I already had a better player than him

33.5 Million :O

Thats a HUGE buy.

Currently my team doesn't even get youth players in there acadamy, i dont now why that is. Am i ment to go searching for players to sign into the youth team??

I thought they were ment to be picked up automatically. Or atleast thats the way it worked in FM07.

This year i've done 2 complete seasons and there is still nothing in my youth squad.
