whats the point of being able to complain about decisions?
This option comes up after every match i play because i seem to have a goal disallowed in every match at the moment. 5 on the trot as i speak. Yet there is no way of telling if the goal was correctly disallowed or not (unless offside) and if i complain i will just get another 1 match ban.
Is there any point in having this? and do the referees ever get the decision wrong? and if so how are we supposed to know when?

Certainly you can judge for yourself with offsides, and i do tend to complain if they got it wrong. Agree though with things like controversial penalties. Was it a foul? Did he take the mans legs? Hard to tell when you're looking at 22 little blobs whether or not there was atangle of legs, or whether it was a dive. In all honesty, the best approach is just to not moan, hard as that may be. i might have a moan about dodgy offsides, but for everything else, i take the Arsene Wenger line of "I didn't see it".

They do sometimes get it wrong, and if you complain then you get a message saying that the FA have refused to comment or act on your complaints, suggesting you were right to complain.
But nothing else happens. I never complain because you never get anything good, only bad.

Watch the highlights. If they say "was that <insert decision here> a bit dubious?" It was wrong, and you'll be able to complain without fear of punishment. That's what's happened in my experience anyway...

It's a gimmick of a feature, it's not like you can replay the game or get an award, so it's just a negative, usually end up with my own players becoming upset. Best option is to just ignore it, press spacebar to continue with the game.

If the decision is wrong and you lose because of it it should give a morale boost to fans and players as well as taking some pressure off from the board. I don't know if it actually does this but if not it should be implemented to give the feature purpose.
Currently i'd have to agree with what's been said though, but even with clear offsides I complain and still get punished by the FA sometimes. Generally it's just not worth the hassle.

On occasion, either way it goes, you'll get a PR with the player involved, too. Either he likes that you speak your mind, or thinks you've caused unnecessary controversy.
