well i strated a game everything was going fine after i fixed it the first time. then i decided to download a facepack i created a grahpics folder and stuck it in there. i go to load the game and it was just a balnk white screen like last time. so i dlete the facepack files and try to go on the game its works. i really dont no what to do am i doing something wrong? i want the man utd face pack backgrounds kits and logos until everything is made but im really struggling.

Install onto a different hard drive, I installed my game onto a new hard drive to start with and had the same white screen problem but when I changed to another hard drive the game worked as normal, install the game on another harddrive and should work fine.

I had this problem when I saved the Graphics in the Program file - it must try & use that file instead of the preloaded graphics.

Try moving your download to My Documents/Sports Interactive/FM 2008

correct - you have to save all the graphics,... under cdocuments ..\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics and not where your game is installed

This happened to me

I created a graphics folder, and moved all my logo's etc: to it to keep it organised

My game crashed and wouldn't come back (Which was really annoying cause I had just beat Shef Utd 4-0!)

I couldn't work out the problem until I tried reverting back my graphics to C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/data

so where do you create the graphics folder in documents sports interactive fm 2008

do i put all the logos kits facepacks backgrounds in here then C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/data

No they need to go into the My Documents Folder (Unless you have choosen a different location for your User Data folder).

After you have run the game once. Goto My Docuements, a Sports Interactive folder should have been created, double click on this and double click on the Football Manager 2008 folder, now you should see several folders (db, games, matches, etc...) if there is no graphics folder, create a new folder and call it graphics.

When you download faces, kits, logos you need to extract them from the zip/rar files into the graphics, where they are in the graphics folder for the game doesn't matter, though for yourself it is best to have some kind of filing system (i.e. create a logos folder in the graphics folder and put the logos in there).

If you still have the white screen at startup then you will need to delete the Cache files, which are located in:
CDocuments and Settings\<YOUR NAME>\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008 Demo\cache\english

Where YOUR NAME is the name of your Windows logon. If you are not using Windows XP then this folder maybe in a different location.
