no, restart literally means turn exit the game (if you loaded the graphics while the game was running) and start FM again, restarting your existing saves etc, not uninstall or anything like

could you tell me what boxes and stuff have to be ticked , there 3 on window settings and another 5 on display settings please

the box you need to un-tick is on display settings it is called skin cache

i have create a folder in fm2008/graphics/players and i insert this 2 folders "premiership" and "premiership manager" into it . . but then in my game there's no face appearing on the players ? need help . .

right. i just managed to get all the prem players faces workign.
this is what i did.
following from the previous instructions.

within the football manager 2008 folder within the my docs folder created the following folders (each being a sub folder of the previous folder)

Graphics
Pictures
Players
eng

i then grabbed the extracted face pack folder (premiership) and chucked it in the eng folder.

loaded the game up, turned 'use skin cache' off. selected 'always reload skin on confirm'. made sure the 'show staff pictures was 'real and generated pictures'. and clicked confirm. now they all show.
