Default Layers question

Seems I have seen this before somewhere but can't find it.
Is there a short cut or fast way of tying the layers together so that you don't have to click on each layer to turn it on or off? If you have 50 layers that's a lot of individual clicking. I hope I am making myself clear.
Thanks. George

- Layer > Flatten image
- Layer > Merge Visible (or just Ctrl + E)
In the "Layer" option you can do anything that touches layers...

Default Layers question

Didn't seem to work. I want to keep the picture open to psd so that I can still work with the layers, therefore I don't want to merge or flatten them yet. I want to show the paper clip icon for all the layers but not have to click on each one one at a time. I am looking for a way to have them all click on or off at the same time.

Sorry for wrong advice 8))
Here it is:
- In your Layer box, were is all your Layers. There are a few small icons on the bottom ("make a new layer" "layer Masks" "new fill adjustments" etc...) there is one icon in the form of folder wich calling "Layer Set". Just click on it, it will create new layer set, than drag all of your Layers in it.

[saywhat] I guess I am still not getting it. I got the new layer set but I could not figure out how to drag the layers into it. What am I not doing right?
When I saw somewhere what I am trying to do it seems that all that was done was a short cut used would automatically click on all the "paper clip" icons on all the layers at the same time. Then when you wanted to click them off you hit another short cut and bingo they turned off. I don't recall it saying anything about creating another layer set.
Thanks for your kind patience.

Checking one of Ben Willmore's books I see how the set layer works. This is used to group a bunch of layers together into one set. This way you can work on that set of layers without wading through many other layers in your pallet. The book I have does not address the issue I am asking about.

OK. I will try. I want to be able to link all the layers in the layer pallet with one click.

No problem,
Just select the Layer, and than click the "link squares" on each of the layers you want to Link. Than you would be able to move linked layers all together, but you wont be able to hide or edit them all at a same time. You may gonna need to use "layers sets" to do so...
Anyway, good luck.
If there is still something wrong, dont be shy to post
