Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Business up front, party in the rear

Yes that right my Wigan side resemble a mullet, great going forward but an absolute shambles at the back
I signed Vagner Love, and quite frankly him and Heskey are setting the world alight upfront, i put 3 past tottenham (having time to have 2 disallowed and miss a penalty) and 3 past tottenham but in both games Chris Kirkland had to pick the ball out of his own net no less than 4 times
i signed Aaron Mokeana and Stephen Warnock in a bid to shore up the back line, but still to no avail
I play a defensive game, defending deep and playing quick and direct to the target man Heskey, i also play narrow cos my pitch is a wee bit cramped but still i cant plug the leak at the back
any suggestions please????
