I dont know if anyone can be of any help here because of the major challenge I have with San Marino here, but its worth a shot.
Im in the year 2020, and in all the games since the start, i've only won a total of three, beating Cyprus away 3-2 in 2008, US Virgins Islands 3-0 in 2015 in a friendly, and then Luxembourg in a friendly in 2017 beating them 2-1, had a few trouncings along the way as expected, but some of the regens that have come through have been awesome, especially the strikers but the defenders are still relatively weak.
I'm currently using a 5-2-2-1 formation that I think i got off FMDownloads - with the filename Dream_Team_Barcelona_Nov_2006.

Latest results that have been high scoring, high conceding in the last two qualification campaigns:
Slovakia 6-4 San Marino
San Marino 2-5 Slovenia
Ireland 5-3 San Marino
San Marino 4-7 Czech Republic
Faroe Islands 7-5 San Marino
Bulgaria 6-3 San Marino
San Marino 5-9 Hungary
These types of results continued from when I started using this tactic from bout 2014 right through to now (2020) I've just counted in my last 50 international games, ive only not scored eight times, meaning obviously ive scored in 42 outta 50 games. So scoring wise i seem to have it sorted, but defence is the reason why ive only won three games (2 friendlies) in 14/15 years!
I can find a link to the tactic if needed, but does anyone have any advice about how I can keep the goals tallying in but dry up the goals im conceding so i can pick up some wins?
