As the heading reads... how long?

I got awesome 17 year old striker and big clubs are already after him, im newcastle im afraid he will become unsettled ;-((( how long it take for a unsettled player to become settled... im gunna offer him 5 year contract as soon as he turns 18 which is october 2008, im in jan 2007...

nzogbia is unsettled but his still produing solid 7s which is good.

In my experience it does not take very long at all but I have always tried to ensure that the particular player who was unsettled was involved in the squad rotation or he would just stagnate and his general happiness would deteriorate even further.

players unsettled due to not adjusting to lifestyle normally take around a year to become settled. If its transfer spec then offering him a new contract may sort him.

My point is theres always somone to get in to do the same job if not better

well if hes unsettled because of the area, the culture then it takes about a year, if hes just unsettled because of people offering for him, doesnt take long till it goes, just wait till people stop offering, what i usually do is put a big price tag on him
