Hi guys have just bought this guy for my Man city team, playing him up front with bianchi.Know he was good in other versions but has been ***** for me so far has played 8or 9 games without scoring. Have official patch loaded. What do you think?

Asamoah Gyan is unbelievable on FM, play him up front and set him as your target man with bianchi and watch him score for fun, he's being unbelievable for my bayern team, averaging 2 goals every 3 games.

I havent bought him this game but as for being crap, keep playing him and as far as iv seen most signings in FM08 (patch) take time to settle in, i had palacio and he was rubbish for the first 10 games then he started to get better and better, so stick with him :thup:

Asamoah Gyan ive never played him myself but my friend whos play Man Utd play him with rooney and hes a beast

One of the most consistent strikers i have ever had, one season he averaged 2 goals a game ended up with 65 goals in all comp's

I bought him for my Arsenal team and ended upplaying him on he right wing. For the first couple of months he was terrible and I brought Hleb back in for a few games but then when Hleb got injured Gyan returned and pretty much won me the league. If you play him on the right seems to score from almost every left wing cross, popping up at the back post. A terrific buy.
