Rooney is in a bit of a tough patch, in 12 games he has scored 2 goals, he got a rating of 6 against Colchester! I play a 4-1-1-2-2 formation, that being 4 defemders, 1 defensive midfielder, 1 centre midfielder with forward arrow inbetween 2 strikers, 1 AML, 1 AMR and 2 strikers. He just doesn't seem to be scoring.
Any advice on how to get him scoring or atleast playing well?

Yeah it should help, Tick foward runs, run with ball ect. Also could try setting him as a target man with balls played to feet.

Play a 4-5-1, with him being the lone striker.
Make sure you still create a lot of chances, with your wingers backing him up.
If everything is channeled through him, he will get a ton of chances.

I thought about this, but I can't bring myself to drop Aguero .
