You are right - but why is he even in the squad? We have a lot more decent English players who are playing FREQUENTLY at thier clubs - Matt Derbyshire for example?

Matt is playin for Eng U 21 and defoe is selected cos england only have 2 good strikers and he plays for a ''big club ''

I have 3
Samuel Eto'o(7 gooals in 4 games)he got inj in one of the games
Fabregas has about 15 goals score agains me in 2 seasons before he was sold to AC MILAN
drogba has so may i dont want to count!!!!

Hilarious! I always take United so I have never played against him..Just marvelled in his 30+ goals every year for me..lol..thats a carbon of Van persie for me though bro. :thdn:
