Have a look at the positions screen in his profile and ti will tell you how good he is in the MC position. A DM or an AMC should be able to cope with the MC position.
I have Pavel Pardo in my Blackburn team and his positions say only DM, but I play him in normal MC and he is fine. Sometimes if I'm really worried about a match I put an arrow on him, but I've only played him in DM when I played Man U and really didn't want to lose so I played 2 DMs and still lost.

I ask as i have just signed Banega but play a straight forward 4-4-2 formation with no anchorman?
Cheers
I use DM's as MC's with success quite often.
Also remember that just because they are listed as DM only, doesn't mean they can't be equally good as MC.
I have players that are NATURAL as both MC and DMC, but are only listed as DMC in their profile
Cheers for the responses but i did kind of know that i guess i just wasn't clear enough in my question. Banega is a natural DM and an Accomplished MC, does this mean that to really get the best out of him i HAVE to play him DM? Also the same applies with Hargreaves, not sure where best he will fit in?
