Default malaysian wonderkids

is there a way to craft wonderkids via regens, particularly since malaysia's players are...not quite of the standards of England?

well it's seems hard to understand what you mean but regen players can be wonder kids with time of course (to them to appear)

if you wait enough and have a good scout which can find you wonder kids and if you have luck to draw them to your side then yes it can happen

Could always stick them in via the editor.

Malaysia is highly unlikely to have any 'wonderkids' no matter how hard your scouts search - you will just have to use an editor if you want this...

is it possible for a youngster to have excellent PA but not be picked up by anyone?

i remember in previous games when you couldn't get a WP feeder club that there was a chinese/malaysian youngster with pa in the 190's. but i couldn't get him because he iddn't have a WP and no one else picked him up either.

I've had two Singaporean wonderkids emerge from my Man Utd academy.

Seems the best way to have wonderkids from these sucky (it's true...) Southeast Asian countries (and other places like Azerbaijan, Canada, etc) is to have full scouting knowledge of the nation (usually from the manager's nationality/ies) and cross your fingers hoping for the best.

In one of my later FM07 games i got someone called Hassan Abdullah, who Carlos Queiroz branded "one of the most gifted players of his generation".

I was about to post this very tip.

I managed to get the best player on the game from the Caribbean through my academy using this very same method.

Of course, also possible to get Malaysian (or Singaporean, or Cypriot, or Mozambiquan, or Nicaraguan, or Samoan, or... you catch my drift, I'm sure) youths in your squad via scouting knowledge from staff, feeders, etc, but it's harder to get staff/feeders from those regions.

If you repeatedly scout the nations you want Regen from your knowledge increases and you get more chance of getting the nation you want.
