before the pacth when i went hibs fc in scotland i had 1.6 mill to spend with offering to challenge for euro qualification, but now just went started the new game even with saying ill win the league i get 80 k to spend??????
why is this, hibs have made 10.6 million from selling players in the last 18 months and this should be reflected, they used most of it for anew trainignc enter etc and balancing the books but why the difference with the patch.
I'm having a similar problem with Derby. I keep losing money depsite being well under my wage budget and still having transfer money. The board isnt happy and I cant understand where I am losing all this money. I wasnt having this issue pre-patch so I'm confused.
I restarted with derby, and usually you were getting roughly 2mil to spend to avoid relegation - went in and they offered me £9mil to avoid relegation.
wages are still the same though, altho when i go in, Im already £3mil in the red, didn't even spend a penny!!
Somethings gone awfy wrong with the finances in that patch!
SO much for the £30m windfall for promotion. My arse.

I picked the mid-table finish got 20M to spend and then I was already 4M in the hole. I arranged 4 friendlies that brought in some money but right now my bank balance is just under 9M and I havnt brought any new transfers in for over a month. This can't be right, can it?
Well how much money does John Collins have to spend in RL? Almost certainly not £1.6million.
Transfer budget isn't necessarily a reflection on a team's finances. £80,000 is probably more realistic as none of the sides in the SPL outside the Old Firm (and maybe Hearts) realistically spend much in any given transfer window.
If it really bothers you then you can go onto the editor and give yourself whatever transfer budget you like.
Did you use the beta patch? The first version of the beta patch ignored the database finances and just estimated based on reputation. Perhaps this caused the bigger budget?

It's not the larger transfer budget on its own, its coupled with the massive debt that you are in, and when you spend the budget, the chariman moans about your terrible ability to keep on budget. Hardly my fault is it?
