I'm playing as Ajax, won the CL (and Eredivisie plus dutch cup for the treble) four seasons in a row. We've had an average attendance of sold out (around 51k) for the last two seasons but we're essentially screwed financially because we cannot expand the stadium because we don't own it.

Will the team ever bite the bullet and move to/build a better stadium or am I wasting my time?

Maybe I should specify, I'm not looking to an answer pertaining specifically to Ajax but just of teams in general. I know I've seen teams move grounds in the game before but I'm not sure if that was specifically pre-programmed.

I've built up the best young squad in the world but they'll all end up leaving if I can't afford to keep them. >_<

Pretty sure it does happen, though it's probably as rare (if not rarer) than the "Manager-offspring-as-Wonderkid" occasion that everyone hopes to acheive.

It happened to me when I was in charge of Welsh Premier club Caersws. The board got a £3.8million loan to construct a 3514 all seater stadium which was called The Caersws Stadium (original, I know)

Yup, happens quite frequently. However, its much more likely to happen to smaller teams who will benefit hugely from jumping from 7000 to 25. Its possible they might decide to build an all-new one, I've heard of Man United moving from Old Trafford etc.

Personally, I've seen Lyon and Palermo move to new built stadiums, but they're about the biggest ones I've seen. Villarreal moved twice too, up to the 47k Forlan Arena :p

Hehe, this is not bug in game, but lack of feature - you dont know hom much money will cost expanding/building new stadium or traning/youth facilities (and youth academy).
