Default Is there a way to go to "Split View" by default?

During matches (whenever i remember anyway), i prefer to have the view set to Split, so i can see match stats and the overview together (the overview screen has a lot of wasted space anyway).

Is there any way to set it up so that the game goes to the Split View by default instead of the Overview? It seems silly to have to make that extra click for every match when it could be automated.

I mean, on the tactics screen, it saves your last view, so if you were looking at stats or set piece attributes or something, the next time you return to that screen the view is still there. If that screen can save its last view (which i'd rather it not do, by the way!), then surely the match screen can as well?

I don't think there is - and I'd like it to remember my default, which isn't "Split View", as well. It should be as simple as "save the last view used before the full-time whistle, and use that when starting a new match".

It's also annoying if i forget to do it, and then click Split View while the match is showing a highlight. When i click Pitch again, the game saves Pitch as my default view and just shows an empty pitch when the game is fast forwarding. WTF?! Who thought that would be a smart idea?

This didn't happen in FM07 by the way.

My split view seems to have been "saved" despite me using 2 different ones depending if i play home or away.

In home games I like to see my players stats on the left side and opposition formation on the right. But in away games I like it to be the other way round, for some reason the game remembers this and saves me from having to change it. But i would also like to see it going straight to the split screen after you have done your teamtalks/tactics/opposition instructions etc.

Yeah, that's awful. The FM'05-'07 model (recognizing that you went to "Pitch" only because a highlight was showing, and defaulting back to your previous screen when the highlight ended) was much much better.

Not what i meant.

The Split View i have set is indeed remembered every time i go to it, but the fact that i want to BE on that screen when the match starts is NOT saved.

I eventually came to the point that it should be allowed.

Go to SI Towers with a kitten and a gun

I've no idea why this keeps breaking. It was broken in FM07 OOTB but fixed in the patch. How hard is it to remember last view? As if FM hasn't got enough clicks in it already without adding yet another to every single match you play.

Curses.

It's not on the change list, but this was fixed in the patch
