Impossible to sell/loan average players. I can't even give them out for free. It's been an issue since FM07. Guess it's not high enough of a priority.

I totally agree this is something that needs to be sorted in future patches.Rafael Van der Vaart has been in my reserves for 3 years i have offered him on a free so many times yet no-one is interested even tho hes on their shortlist. imagine the interest in real life if he was available on a bosman. this happens with so many international players and also wonderkids offered on loan yet no offers which is unrealistic.even when you agree to pay their wages nothing happens.

Well I managed to offload Riise for 17 million pounds (Man City), Kewell for 10 million (Aston Villa), Itandje for 1 million, Voronin for 4.5mil (Portsmouth) and Finnan for 1.5 million (Villa).The last three never played a game in the latest patch.

Transfer list the player you don't want and set his asking price to £0. When you get interested clubs, use the "Offer To Clubs" option and set your real asking price, and send that out. Some of the newly interested clubs should bite.
