Its totally useless I can save games I cant load games I have managed to save once since installing the patch then since that first save nothing would save and all my old saves refuse to load any help would be appreciated thanks.

Most likely a conflict within your PC - best to seek help in the PC Support forum (available from the "Go->The Forums" menu in the top left) and give as much details as you can about your machine.
ahah got it its damnable vista with its split hard drive thing the one with fm on was full with these stupid error reports my computer keeps duplicating moved some other stuff onto free hard drive and I can now save and load again except for my sunderland save shame really I was doing well

I would recommend you to set the game to save in another partition of the harddrive as your computer is probably likely to keep producing things that eat away space. You can save the game to any place on the drive.
Should I just throw the game away
