I think he was the best ever player in a cm/fm. even at 16 years of age he'd bang in hte goals for massive teams like real madrid.

I had him in one game for his whole career, i nearly cried when he retired, average rating of 7.99 for his whole career, played crap in his last ever game and it dropped his rating below 8.

Maxim Tsigalko (sp?) was also brilliant in 01/02

Viktor Onopko was a legend! Most players of Monaco (Trezeguet, Henry, Djetou, etc) and anyone from Colo Colo

I'd go:

5 - Mad Jorgenson (99/00 and 00/01, assists galore)
4 - Seth Johnonson (CM3, can buy him for about twenty pence then he's worth 15 million two weeks later, so it gives you the great choice of selling on at huge profit, or playing him cos he was awesome)
3 - Simon Davies (00/01, quality central midfielder for no more than 200,000, never had a bad season no matter how many times I signed him)
2 - Kennedy Backircioglu (99/00, all round class act, good player for mid table teams to add a bit of quality then flog for many millions two years later)
1 - Ibramhima Bakayoko (97/98, the greatest striker in FM/Champ history. He did cost you quite alot though unlike the others, but scored for fun)

Certain players are/were always solid buys no matter what version of the game, Sheringham, Duff, Ronaldo, Etherington, Jarosik, Alan Smith, Shearer etc. Signed them many times for many teams and have never really disappointed, so whilst not discoveries as such, probably better buys historically throughout the game

Think it was 99/00 version but always had top raid Peterborough at the start of the game for Simon Davies, Gareth Jellyman and Matthew Etherington.But the star of the show had to be David Collins from Burnley, awesome striker wonder what happened to him?

Djalminha was a legend, that must have been.....96/97?

Also another blast from the past, Gareth Jellyman! Peterborough had a good few young starlets to nick that year, there was another that I can't remember now, damnit!

Also either their Ast. Manager or Scout was a legend too
