Really going out on a limb here but does anybody at all remember a Polish CB/SW from a club in the Polish second division in CM 01/02 who had like, maximum attributes in every key area? This guy was an absolute legend for me, marking - tackling - heading etc. all maxed out almost permanently.

I always figured it was a data error that had him that uber but I'd love to research the real player...only I can't remember his damn name

Stevie nicholls in about 3 fm's ago - he played for Stirling and I signed him for Rangers as a young prospect, he won goldn boot and was worth 8m by the end of my second season!

On CM 03/04 there was a guy called Ibrahim Ali Maher available on a free who used to play for El Ahly in Egypt. His stats were random and on my game he was immense (hence the name). Signed him against the advice of my scouts and coaches and he was an absolute talismanic genius, won me the 2nd and 1st division with his goals, then later the premiership and helped establish me in europe before his legs went and with a heavy heart I let him go to manage Sunderland.

Orri Freyr Oskarsson was immense on CM03/04. He would sign for practically any club on the game, and would perform at any level. I also always used to sign Alpay and Lionel Morgan on that game. David Suazo also deserves a mention from 03/04. I got him on a free at the end of my first season and he was a mainstay for many years.

Another player who I should mention is Marvin Elliott. He excelled for me on FM2005 and 2006, and always ended up becoming my captain.
