Insinuation

I started with automatic experience, and got offered two jobs quite quickly, and took the smaller of the two, Ecija like several others have in Spain.

have just finished my preseason friendlies, which didn't go too badly aside from parent club Seville smashing me 5-0 in the last one, although i wasn't allowed to play my loanees in the game, and they might have made all the difference lol. I was informed that my 'keeper was a weak link when I joined, but I have no spare money to get anyone else, but when I looked at the coaching staff my GK coach was rated 1 in GK, so I've given him the boot and brought in a new guy, so hopefully my 'keepers may improve a little.

Don't really know what to expect, I've only ever managed outside of the UK twice before, so will be interesting to see how it goes. I patched up before I started the game, so at the moment I'm not even sure if any of the tactics I've been tweaking will even work straight off the bat.

Started unemployed but went with international footballer. got the watford job in january after boothroyd took the middlesborough job and took them up from 10th via the playoffs. now barely keeping out of the relegation spots with 5 games to go.

Insinuation

Loving my game with Ecija

Got offered shedloads of players on loan during the transfer window, and renegotiated for season long loans at 10% of salary to get a couple of quality players in, along with a couple from parent club Seville.

Now 8 games in, unbeaten with a tweaked 4-4-2 formation, didn't concede in the first six games and won 5 on the bounce. Early days, but I'm 4 points clear at the top and looking for a decent season, fingers crossed. My one big worry is that whilst my first 11 looks superbad at this level, the squad depth is not great, and three or four key injuries or suspensions could quickly see me struggle, a bit more stamina from some players would help too, some struggle to play two games in a week.
