I started a game Unemployed and got given the managers job at LA Galaxy !
LA Galaxy had one game left won that !
During i kept bascilly the same side that i was givien didnt have lots of money because the manager had bought players that came in januray ! I got the squad ready for the next season by touring brazil !
Found a great forward player cant remeber what he was called something like ricardho payed a bit of money for him even thought i didnt have any ! lol
Then the unpatched game went and gave beckham a free transfer !
So quit then and now i have been waiting for the full patch to come out !

Started off with sunday league footballer and in February was offered the job at Braintree in Southern Conference, they were in the relegation zone at the time, took them upto 15th and things were looking good, until I lost 7 in a row and got relegated. Unsurprisingly enough, I decided to resign and got offered the job at newly promoted Merthyr Tydfil, did a sterling job for them and finished 11th, was in with a shout of play-offs with 4 games left, but again blew it at the end. Am now just starting 2nd season with them, lost 2 and drawn 1 so far though....

I started out Unemployed and got a job offer to take over Real Betis is Spain. When I got the offer they had won 1 Drawn 4 and Lost 12 in the league. They suggested that they were looking for mid table at the beginning of the season but now they just wanted to avoid relegation...unsurprisingly.
Now I didn't start well particularly, and after league games had won 1 drawn 4 and lost 4. Still the same distance from safety (10 points). However I then won the next 6 games on the trot, including a 3-0 romp over Barcelona and three away wins in the six. Taking me out of the relegation zone and looking pretty.
I lost the next game 3-0 to local rivals Sevilla. Now I realise that losing a local derby 3-0 isn't great even if the "analysis" suggested it could have gone either way.
But immediately after that game I was given the sack. Does anyone else think this was harsh and weird?

Well it's just me again, just letting you know I finished 12th in the League with Lemona, not good at all, next season finished 16th so obviously got sacked. Now with Katowice (POlish second division) things not going too well... in fact for some reason FM08 seems so much harder than FM06 and 07. Every tactic I use just doesn't work even ones that worked in 07 and 06! Whats going on?!

However, I am now in the process of the Promotion play-offs, came through the first round knocking about Leganes but I now have Villajoyosa and have to go there for the second leg with the score at 1-1 after an appalling showing at home.
| I hate the Spanish B1-4 promotion system, I spent 3 seasons winning the league with Cultural Leonesa yet failing to get them promoted in FM07. Makes it challenging though I suppose.

Never tried this before so thought i'd give it a go. Just started a game unemployed auto experience. Applied for the Gretna job got turned down, but Sparta Rotterdam offered me a job. Not got much money to spend (£170,00) and my two best players won't sign new contracts. Board just want to enjoy top flight football for the next 2 years so no expectations. This should be a challenge. Ajax away 1st game of the season

I was able to get a job immediately after I start at a German Div 2 side St. Pauli, they have a pretty balanced team and their seasonal objective is simply a midtable finish. This is quite achievable and they do have a couple of decent youngsters.
However the best thing about playing in Germany is that there's absolutely zero restrictions on whom you want to buy, I've been picking up cheap Brazilian talents for peanuts ever since I arrived.
But the scouts are unable to scout out the players playing outside EU so it does make it pretty tricky when trying to sign players.
Won promotion to division 1 after 2 seasons, have a team full of talented young Brazilians, the form have been inconsistent but should be able to stay in the top division come end of the season.
