I'm one season through in the spanish league with atletico madrid (started post-patch) and i notice that registration of B and C teams is completely screwed.

It didn't happen at the start of my first season, but after the january transfer window and now after august in my second season, my B and C teams have 0 registered players. I note that it's been well documented in the bugs forum (along with lots of angry messages) and after trying the two workarounds suggested; make sure i hit "change" and "submit" on the final day, go on holiday on the day when registration closes, i still can't get any players to show up in either my b or c team.

This is incredibly frustrating for a number of reasons:
1. My atletico b's were relegated from division B1 to a non-existent league last year because they only had greyed out players, meaning no reserve players can get match experience.

2. youth players don't get any match play

3. I'm forced to loan out any prospect who isn't in my first squad, and this is very difficult to do (find a club of high enough standard who is willing to give regular football).

4. I can't call on players from B's or C's to play for my senior squad, which is particularly bad for goalie injuries (if both my first and choice and back up are injured, i'm basically guaranteed to lose).

5. even if the "go on holiday" method works (and i'm not just doing it right), the division window closing coincides with champions league registration, which means i'm not allowed to pick my 25 players for champions league. Since i don't have 4 homegrowns in my first squad, this means my assistant manager would get to decide who to omit from my A's to pick a youth player (not something i'm keen on).


Going on past experience, SI doesn't release a second bug fix until it releases the january transfer window data update (at least late feb) and i'd hate to think i couldn't do a serious career with a spanish club (or any other registration nation) until then.


SO, is there any other workaround which people have had success with?
