I've been making font sizes larger in my new skin, but it's screwed up the alignment of the text in subtle-popup buttons, so the bottom is cut off. In FM2007, I could just use <flags id="alignment" value="left, top", but that doesn't seem to work anymore. How can I fix this? http://img458.imageshack.us/img458/2...ignmentsf7.jpg |

I was thinking about this - is there any possibility of getting some API specs for the skinning process? Then problems like this would be much easier to solve. As it stands, there are lots of things that directly tie into attributes in the game code that we can't possibly know about.

| LOL  I prefer smaller fonts myself, but I'm making this skin for a mate with bad eyesight, so the bigger the better!

Well, in my short stint with xml, i have came across some stuff that seems to relate to stuff fitting in a certain place.
<layout class="fit_children_attachment" alignment="vertical, fill" offset="0" gap="0"/>
i THINK, lol, which fits the parent around the children attachment, i.e. text in a box, again, what do i know!
just a suggestion, i really dont have a clue as you can tell haha

Well that's worth a try, although given it's text in a widget, I'm not sure using a layout manager like that would work. The alignment values might map across to the <flags id=alignment> tag though.
