In my game I just discovered a great youngster with seemingly alot of potential.
He's only 15 years old but the scout report is already saying he'll be a great asset to the team for Man Utd.
Now I had a bid of 4M pounds accepted. The scouts says he's extremely interested in joining my club. He only wants 275 pounds per week in contract demand with only a "Youngster" status.
However I've offered him a contract 3 times. In the last time I offered him a Backup role and 15,000 pounds a week with 750k sign on fee. Huge bonuses all over but it simply says he signed a new contract with his old club and don't want to leave.
I had this happen before at the previous club I managed. At the time I just thought maybe my club's reputation still can't attract him.
However I'm at ManU, who's ranked no.1 in the European Clubs. My club is many times greater in terms of both achievements and reputation than his old club.
Is this a bug or is there some game mechanic involved that don't let you sign players that's really young.
