For all of us who patched a saved game. Important reading.
Just a note to all you others. I had an extensive save game that I had started on the day of purchase. Patched each time and noticed improvements each time. Then installed full patch. This is the important part. They say that the improvements are instant, yes some are musy most arent. I struggled with tactics deplorably. Still winning but it just seemed the players werent themselves.So inevitably I searched and blamed and whined and bitched about these poor and overzealous performances. I struggled through to the end of the year still managed to win F.A.(with my MAN UTD!!) on penalties as no one could get past my keepers either. Luckily all my other teams had done the job, but lost to arsenal 2-0 in ECL final. Bad performances by all players including the gunners boys. I went to the Gold Cup with Mexico and lost in semis to bloody Canada on penalties with more bad performances throughout the tournament. You know players not doing what they wre supposed to.
By this time i'm getting really ****ed. So end of season is coming I click all the way through get some stuff done for my teams and start playing some friendlies. OMFG the match engine is about a thousand times better. I believe there may have been a problem with it applying itself as why SI say to start a new game. The game is still hard but its working, they are doing what ive said to do nearly all the time. Not just every now and then. I thought it was important for those who are in the same situation to hear this. It may give you some hope. I was never going to stop playing was just going to try harder. The game is now perfebt, nearly. My tactics are working. Good job guys. Played eleven friendlies so far so not isolated.. :thup: Any similar encounters post up.

I didn't start a new game either. I have noticed that my matches are much more fluent now. Only played a few friendlies into a new season so I'm not sure how much better it will be but the matchengine is much better after patch.
