Im getting fed up of all those windge threads. I don't see how these little niggling problems.

FM07 was too easy for me. I turned Sheffield United into Premiership Champions in four seasons. Getting a club promoted to the premiership was too easy and staying up was a joke - even with my keeper out for the season.

FM08 is fantastic, My Sheff U won promotion on the last day of the season. Then Relegated on the final day by a controversial penalty. Back up by winning the championship by 4 points, this time stayed in the Premiership on the final day of the season.

FM08 is much harder and more realistic, ok there are too many shots sometimes - then its up to the manager to work his magic. Close down the shooters, man mark, hard tackling etc.

You can argue these don't work but its up to the manager to sort it out.
If your windging about this game then it says more about you than it does SI.

I agree five seasons with Wolves, 2 promotions and one relegation, and i consider myself to be very good at the game. The Premiership is a whole different class in 08, and its how it should be. On previous versions i could retain a lot of my championship players and still get a mid table position in the prem, not this time. Its taken my full budget two seasons running to create a mid table team with only one player from my promotion campaign surviving in the team. Its a lot tougher than any other version and a lot more realistic, yes there are still a few bugs even after the 8.01 patch IMO, but the game on a whole has jumped forward a lot, for you whingers, play fifa 08 i hear its a lot less realistic and a lot easier.

The fan reaction option is brilliant, no matter how well you do the fans will still not be pleased with certain aspects of your reign, totally realistic.

Im just excited every time i load that game up now, my best bit of business so far was buying a 31 year old Tim Cahill from Everton when his career looks to be finishing, playing him in the hole, and him getting 14 goals this season and being the signing of the season. Loving 08, keep up the good work.

P.s i was one of the sceptics when it came out, and bought it very late, it really surprised me

Just watched Newcastle Vs Liverpool and Torres missed loads. This shot to goal ratio can be as realistic as in real life!
