<UL TYPE=SQUARE> <LI> Any member of this forum may submit a record.
<LI> If you are new to this, have a look at last year's thread to see how things work.
<LI> Records must be set from competitive matches, no friendlies. To make it clear now, the Club World Championship is considered a competitive competition. International friendlies may count for records involving sequences of matches, but not for individual matches.
<LI> All records must be set from matches/players/seasons involving human managers, i.e. no AI records.
<LI> New titles for records can be created at any time, provided proof can be shown.
<LI> Records must either be set or broken, equalling records do not count.
<LI> Any record submitted must be accompanied with a screenshot at the bottom of the post.
<LI> All records must be set using an unedited database, the only updates allowed are the official data updates from SI.
<LI> All records must be set using the retail version of the game, ie. none from the demo or test builds.
<LI> No cheating. (I know there is no way of checking but it seemed to go pretty well last time, so hopefully people can be trustworthy.)
<LI> Try to keep any player tipping or tactical advice to the relevant forums. (Obviously there will be a certain extent of player naming with the records.) </UL>
Submitting a Record
This has changed slightly since last year, so please read this carefully.
<UL TYPE=SQUARE> <LI>Make sure the record is in the correct category (see the descriptions below).
<LI>Records need to posted in the form: record title – username – player/club – record - link to proof
<LI>Use the 'reply with quote' button (this one) to copy the most recent list, remove the quote marks at the top and the bottom, then add your new record. This makes sure the list keeps all the links that people have posted.
<LI>If you mess up, please try to correct it as soon as possible
<LI>To add a link, use the URL box at the top when you post, paste the direct link into the URL line and type 'Proof' into the title line. </UL>
How to Take a Screenshot
<UL TYPE=SQUARE> <LI> While in FM, press the 'Prt Sc' button (usually next to F12 on your keyboard).
<LI> Open an image editing program such as Paint and paste the image
<LI> Save the file as a JPEG
<LI> Upload the image to an image hosting website such as Photobucket or Imageshack
<LI> Post the direct Url to the image here. </UL>
The Categories
Match Records - any record from a single match that is not by a single player
Player Match Records - records set by a single player in a single match
Player Season Records - records set by a player over the course of one season
Other Player Records - player records that are not from a single match or season, includes player career records
Seasonal Records - any record set over a season that is not by a single player
Career Records - any record created in a game that lasts more than one whole season, excludes player records
International Records - any record created while managing a national team
The Hall of Shame - those records that people really shouldn't want to hold, but do anyway
Miscellaneous Records - anything that doesn't fit into one of the categories above
