I installed the 8.0.1 patch, but I want to go back to the beta patch... what should i do? Reinstall FM08 and then install the beta patch, or just install the beta patch again?
Uninstall FM, reinstall FM, and then apply the beta patch.
Although if you are having tactical problems or any other managerial problems with the 8.0.1, then those problems will probably be amplified going back to the beta patch.

btw, i've been playing with the beta patch for 2 or 3 weeks, i guess. And with the 8.0.1 the match engine is ridiculous. thats no fun. i'll go back to beta patch ;]
The matchengine unpatched and betapatched felt very unrealistic with unrealistic scores. I rather have lots of misses and such than 8 or so goals scored every match.
betapatch made the match engine very realistic imo, not any worse than the latest patch. Plus, you can actually sell player on beta, which is the final reason why I'm going back to beta, also

Anyone know where I can get the MAC OS beta patch, I uninstalled the lot when the Final patch came out, I totally agree with Daniel Duarte, I'm not having any fun at all with the final patch, It is not that I'm losing games, I'm performing pretty much exactly as pre patch, but I can't stand watching my forwards constantly missing chances

was I really? than find any of the posts and let me know, please.
Certainly I was looking forward to it, I was one of only ~1000 online waiting for the release. However, patch really didn't solve any of the issues that bothered me (e.g., registration), so I don't see the reason to stick with it (besides that I am lazy to do all the uninstall etc. process)
