Just tell me what's wrong. I've been playing this game for a decade now but have never ever experienced such a thing before.
I'm with the Spurs.

Starting line-up:

enyeama

chimbonda/king/kompany/bale
lennon/jenas/banega/Matias Fernandez
berbatov/keane

plus, i bought players like leon andreasen, the russian defender (free transfer) and piatti n kept all decent spurs players...

plus, i have the best coaches on each training session n the best possible training for gk, df, etc...

n the result is that i can barely get a win in the premiership...2 wins, 3 draws n 8 losses...
in the last 4 home games, i got a penalty awarded againt me in each game...

OK. i was just unlucky i said to myslelf. (even installed 8.0.1) started from scratch a couple of times (wit different transfers every time!!). alas, i experienced the same scenarios...i coudnt even make it to top 10?!

played with sampdoria (a pretty decent team) in seria A...the same

talked to a friend of mine n he told me that the game could be bugged...help me out, here...tell me what to do!!!

Man, i stopped trying to figure this game out.
One day i beat Marseille 4 - 1, and in another day i lose against the bottom team 3 - 0.

No matter the in game tactics change..

Too bad every team on my league expect mine have Clark Kent on goal.

well...who knows such sporadic results can occur, pedro...however, losin' against man u, chelsea, arsenal , n liverpool every bloody time u play ain't that sporadic, man! ..n goin' 3-nothin' against everton before even the first half (2 times in a row!!!)...even the draw against a 9-men chelsea was considered a sheer luck for me!

Well, you have two choices. You can insist the game is bugged and just get angry, or you can try watching a few of your matches all the way through, figure out what the exact problems are, then try and fix those specific issues. Thats what I did and I'm having a good time now even if I don't win every match.

No I'm far from demandig a win every game.. and yes, u're right...I've tried what you just mentioned, too...different tranfers, different tactics every single time in order to fix my mistakes (supposedly) = no result...I've also experiened bad moments in the previous fmS but nothing like this!

I am using the new patch, and I try to maximise the number of chances created by playing a 4 4 2 that becomes a 4 2 4 when in possesion.

I am playing in Div 2, so I can rely on the opposition strikers missing almost as many chances as I do.

I don't know if that would work at your level.

If I go behind, I then switch to 4 2 4 and all out attack. This sometimes, catches the oppositon out and stops the dreaded ' 4 minute salvo'!!!!

Yeah I was only inputting what I got from personal experience. I started watching each game and trying to figure out how to correct for each issue and it's really worked well. But I have also had my slumps.

And of course, as we all know if you go into a long losing slump in FM, it's really hard to fight your way out because your morale goes in the toilet.
